Bright Or Dark?

Today is ridiculously hot out!! My shirt is basically sticking to me! I went for a walk this morning while it was still cool enough to be outside but I have a feeling we are getting a heat wave this week..

I don't exactly know my plans for today..Maybe going to a local town with my sister to walk around, get some ice cold drinks, and just relax...I decided to go for something new that I always try on but never wear out of the house...That is my skirt/shorts/skort? from Urban Outfitters that I snatched on sale for only $10..I paired it with a crisp white tank I purchased for only $4.50 at Forever 21 yesterday and my orange turtle necklace from J.Crew that I got a while back...

This is my small attempt at colors...It seems that oranges, hot pink, and other brights are popping up everywhere! I figured I would give it a try, step outside my box, and be daring with these bright bottoms and necklace..Do you all prefer brights or darks and neutrals? 

New Looks

I never usually like dresses..I am definitely more of a jeans and tank kind of girl but I started to love dresses recently!! I just went to Forever 21 with my sister and bought an adorable floral cotton dress that stops at my ankle along with a butterfly printed short dress from H&M for only $10!!...I love getting great deals for summer essentials!

It was pretty chilly out this morning so I wore my Delias jeans (what else is new) with a peasant- like top from Bass and my tan Lucky Brand flats..The weather definitely changed because now it is beautiful, sunny, and very warm...I'm thinking about going for a walk or tanning except I am still extremely burnt from my trip to Maryland...Damn my pale skin!!

Does anyone else like to wear dresses or prefer the pants and classic T-shirt look?

A Night Out

Last night I went to the Script concert in the city.....Despite the rain, it was amazing!!! I went for an early dinner at a diner with my friends and then we headed over to Central Park for the concert...It ended earlier than I thought (around 10:30) but it ended up being a good thing since I worked all day yesterday and all day today!

To the concert I did a fast wardrobe change at my friends house...I changed out of my work clothes and put on Seven brand black wide leg jeans, tank from T.J. Max my black Aldo wedges, and a necklace purchased from my grandma while she was on vacation

Jobless

I thought my summer was all planned out! Internship during the week and working at a country club part of the weekend...Boy was this wrong!! As of now, I don't have the internship and I am on schedule to work at the country club every Saturday and Sunday!! Basically I have no one to hang out with because my friends all work during the week and are off on weekends...Like how it should be!!! 

I went out for a job hunt today and it did not work out as planned...Stores instantly shut me down as if they could read my mind asking for a job!! Oh well..hopefully things work out soon!

Right now I am debating if I should wait to eat at 7:30 with my parents or eat dinner at home and then go to my friends house...mmhmm!? I just don't know....

As for the outfit I am wearing my Delias skinny jeans along with an oversized t-shirt I got at Barney's a couple of years ago..I just love oversize t's...I feel put together but super comfortable

Tomorrow I am going to the Script concert with my best friends...I missed out on the one last year because I was sick so I can't wait to go tomorrow!! I will definitely leave pictures.

Wardrobe Change

At the last second I changed my outfit..It was a little chilly out and I was in the mood to wear my scarf which leads me to my new outfit

Black J. Brand cargos from Marshalls, white t-shirt from Forever 21, orange and pink scarf from Zara, and my tan Lucky Brand flats...I tried stretching them out a little and I think it's working!!

I promise no more outfit changes for the day!!

Zip Me Up

Happy Thursday everyone!! Almost the weekend...Not that it matters to me since as of now, I do nothing everyday....It's fun not having any responsibilities but at the same time I wish I had SOMETHING I had to do

Today I'm actually running a few errands and sadly paying a shiva call (Jewish thing when someone dies) to my best friends grandpa

Since it's only about 70 degrees and I'm not the biggest fan of shorts I decided to wear my old black zip jumper from Century 21 along with my lace, cream and grey tank from the Gap...I haven't decided yet but I think I am going to wear them with my tan lucky brand flats...I love these flats but I have to come clean..They are NOT comfortable!! Hopefully the leather stretches out fast before my toes fall off!!

Bag Dilemma

I just went to the store Madewell to return that black clutch I bought back in March..I love the clutch but I still never used it so I figured I would try for a different bag..Unfortunately they wouldn't take back my bag due to a lack of receipt..Oh well...Now I will just have to tear off the tag and start flaunting it!!

I wanted to just throw something on fast so I wore my black leggings from Forever 21, my tan Lucky Brand flats (not in picture) and my blue t-shirt on sale from Marshall's for only $10!...I love this shirt because its half cotton and half silk...Also, more than half off!! 

If you found out you couldn't return something you had what would you do?

Be upset or be happy that now you can wear the item with no guilt of spending the money for it?
