Burrrr!

Today I woke up and it was freezing!! The sky was dark and gloomy, and it looked like it was going to pour! probably because it's supposed to downpour tomorrow!! ughh!.. Anyways, I took a nice, hot shower this morning to start off my day. I love taking showers after I wake up. I feel so refreshed!.. When I was getting dressed this morning, I wanted to wear something new. As my sister knows, I always save my new clothes instead of wearing them right away. I feel like when you wear it right away it's a waste but I realized something. It's also a waste to leave it in your closet until you forget you even have it!!(woops!)
Anyways, I wore Skinny Jeans that I have from soo long ago from Delias. I paired these jeans with a new cropped sweater that I got at Marshall's of course for only 13 dollars! It's super comfy and perfect shirt to wear with jeans. I also added this new hat from forever 21. Forever 21 seriously has the best accessories for such a cheap price. I mean come on!, this hat was only 4 dollars! (how many more colors should I buy!? haha)Lastly, I wore my sperry brown boots yet again. It's going to rain tomorrow though so I may have to finally switch it up to my bright yellow hunter rain boots!..Also, I need a dress for a party next weekend!! I have been looking on soo many sites but I still have not found that perfect dress..Any suggestions would be wonderful!!! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Attempting to finally show off the boots!

I Need Sleep!

So it's official. I need sleep!! ahh.. I get no sleep at school and you would think I would be rejuvenated from my long week home, but I am not at allll.. I was in such a deep sleep this morning that when I heard my alarm go off for class, I wanted to cry. Don't you hate when you're so cold, wrapped up in your cozy bed, and then you hear that loud, obnoxious sound going off telling you it's time to start your day!? Well I hate it! Okay, I think you all get the point that I was in no mood to wake up this morning ahha.. I actually am a morning person believe it or not. I just never been so tired in my life!! Anyways, enough complaining!.. I picked out my outfit soo fast this morning but I'm loving the way my outfit goes together. It does not necessarily match, but it goes so perfectly. (at least in my eyes). So for the pants, I am wearing jean leggings from Target. They are by far the best jeggings I purchased so I got them in black this past weekend. (only 14 dollars!). I paired it with a long black tank, and a blue button up shirt that I scored on the sale rack about a month ago at Marshall's for 10 dollars!! and this shirt was originally 70 dollars!! I was a little chilly so I put on a grayish wrap around scarf with gold dots shimmered throughout the scarf. I love these kind of scarves. You don't have to figure out how to wrap it around your neck, or worry about it falling off! It just stays on perfectly. Lastly, I paired it with my new sperry boots ( I am probably going to be wearing these everyday until I get sick of them) Once I buy something new that I love, I can never take them off!.. I went for a natural look today with basically no makeup and natural hair (this is rare for me but it takes a lot less time to get ready in the morning!) I also am wearing my usual assortment of rings, bracelets, and my grandpa's initial ring necklace. I love all of my jewelry because they all have stories behind them, and mean so much more to me than just a piece of silver or gold. I can NOT wait for Christmas time! All I want to do is run into the city and see the christmas tree lit up, and drink hot coffee while walking the streets of the city, admiring the different outfits that people are wearing. Only 2 more weeks until this becomes a reality!! Hope everyone is having a great day!!

Back to the dorm room background!!!!

Like the wrap around scarf better or regular scarves??

Back To School

So I got back to school so early! I actually think I am the only one in this whole building. NOT KIDDING!! Anyways, I'm just waiting around for my roommate and my friends to get back to school so I'm pretty bored. I guess I can relax and just chill in my room for a little. This Thanksgiving break was much needed. It was absolutely amazing to see my family and I had so much fun going to dinner, shopping, and just watching movies with my sister and parents. We always have so much fun together and I am so happy and lucky to have such a loving and amazing family. My dad especially really stepped it up this week and is helping me deal with some pretty shitty stuff I am going through. On a more positive note, I got all pampered while I was home. Fresh mani and pedi along with a new hair style. Well, more angles and layers. My outfit consisted of plain black forever 21 leggings, a white t-shirt, a black zip up from target (on sale this week!), a wrap around scarf from Marshall's and my favorite new pair of shoes!.. I got Sperry Boots for Hanukah and trust me, they are a hit! Everyone keeps telling me they want them ASAP!!

I promise I am actually very happy despite this Emo looking picture!
See, there's a smile! Like the new hair??
How was everyone's Thanksgiving?? Anyone have a Christmas list yet?? I bet I can think of a few things I still want!!! ahhh life of a shopaholic

black friday anyone?

So today is the Friday after Thanksgiving day. Last night's meal was absolutely amazing!! we had soooo much food it was insane! My aunt cooked another delicious meal and everyone seemed to enjoy it!.. Anyways, today is the best day of the year for a shopper obsessor such as myself..BLACK FRIDAY!... I remember last year on this fabulous day my dad bought me a ring for my Hanukkah present.. Because we got there so early, I got a pair of free diamond earrings with it!! (still wearing them today).. This year I got something different...something AMAZING!! First off, I bought hightop sperry boots that I've seen in all the fashion magazines lately. They are dark brown, lace up leather boots and are the perfect boots to bring back to school with me!.. Along with the boots, my dad bought me my first pandora bracelet. I love the idea of this bracelet..I love jewelry but I'm running out of wrist and fingers haha.. so now for every special occasion, I am going to just ask for charms to add onto my bracelet... My dad started off this collection with 2 charms today.. One was a black and white polka dot circle, and the other charm was a buddha. Im actually OBSESSED! For the outfit, I shopped in full on comfort. I wore wide leg, black seven jeans, a white t shirt, a grey zip up from Target that I found hiding in my closet, and a grey and black vest because it was about 60 degrees out. I paired this outfit with my usual jewelry, and brown minnetonkas.. This week is going great and I love spending time with my family. I really am not ready to go back to school although I do miss my pledge sisters.. Im going to try to keep working on myself fashion wise and in other ways.. Im hoping that as my mom always says, "once I get everything going, everything will start working out".. hope this is true... have a great weekend everyone!!

finally in MY ROOM!

Good To Be Home

Sorry for not writing the past couple of days!! I've been extremely busy and not by a computer. Anyways, I just got home for my Thanksgiving break and it is a break that is needed! I've been so busy and run down lately that it feels so great to be back home to my family, a comfy bed, and good food. Im home now for a week and I am so excited to see what I do. I already planned to go on a few shopping trips with my sister and with my friends (when C has enough shopping). I have all these ideas of things I want to still buy; a cute faux fur hat, some sweater tights, and other things I'm sure I will find... but I have very little space left in my dorm back at school (oh well- the life of a fashionista!).. Today I woke up super late, got my eyebrows done with my mom and sister, and hit up TJMax. This store is a great place to find cheap prices on designer items just like Marshall's. I scored Kenzie Boots for only 35 dollars and they are adorable! Tan short boots with red laces and sheepskin on the inside (sound very "out there" but trust me they are a keeper!) I also bought a steve madden knitted hat in different shades of neutrals. I think I'm going to wear the shoes and hat together with skinny jeans and a big black sweater.. Cute???..

Today I went for a comfy, but cute look. I love these pants. They are grey jeggings from Urban Outfitters that I got on sale for 29 dollars! I paired it with a plain white t-shirt, and a big blue gap sweater that I found in the back of my closet. Lastly, I wore my sperry top siders (most comfortable shoes to just throw on), and a grey hat that I bought at Anthropology last year. It's amazing how some things just don't go out of style!!.. Hope everyone had a great day and I plan on leaving better posts for the week.. Happy almost Thanksgiving!

Too Busy!!

So I am trying my hardest to post everyday on my blog but it's becoming impossible!.. I've been sleeping out of my room for the past 2 nights, and still have 3 more nights to go!! Because of this, it's becoming hard to post, let alone take pictures of my outfits. I wish I was able to keep up with my blog post, and pictures but I have no camera here (sighhh) So instead, I think I am going to just talk about fashion.. So clearly, I'm always thinking about what I want to buy next, or a new outfit that I thought of while falling asleep. I really want to keep up with my "trendy" outfits (at least I think they are!!). I really try my hardest to express myself through my style, and hope people around me can see that.. What do you guys think??? Do you guys dress for comfort or more for a statement look??

I love this Dress. It screams "Christmas party"
I think these socks are adorable! You can even pair it with this dress and a leather jacket for an edgy look

Blown Over!

Today it is so nice out!.. Sunny, and 60 degrees. The only downfall to this weather is the WIND! I am seriously being blown over on the way to class, its crazy!! Anyways.. I had about 15 minutes to get ready for class which means...clothes everywhere! I had a different outfit picked out that consisted of jeans and a baggy sweater but it was too hot to wear!... I decided to go for a rocker look today..I wore dark denim leggings from American Eagle (purchased at Deer Park Outlets for only 11 dollars!).. I paired these jeans with a black ripped t-shirt I scored at Urban Outfitter's sale rack for only 10 dollars) and a pink headband with pearls on it from Urban Outfitters as well. I love how Urban has so many unique, trendy accessories to wear with multiple outfits!.. Everyday, I forgot to add my most important part to my outfits. I wear my gold chain necklace. This necklace was made for me when my grandpa passed away last month. My grandma took his initialed ring and made it into a necklace for me. I wear it everyday and it means the world to me... My day overall is going pretty good and I can't wait to go home for Thanksgiving in 5 days!!! Ahhhh can't wait to be with my family and friends from home again!

Hard to get the full outfit on camera!
  • What's your favorite part of thanksgiving!?
  • Do you usually go for the laid back look at dinner or get dressed up!? ... I think this year I'm going to get dressed up and make it a "night out" look

Rain Rain Go Away

It rains basically everyday here at school!.. Although I love wearing my bright yellow Hunter rain boots, I am getting sick of them.. I love the fall weather, wearing long jeans, cute boots, and my favorite black leather jacket (Calvin Klein)...not my brown rain jacket and bright red umbrella!.. anyways, instead of throwing on a sweatshirt and leggings, I opted for a different outfit.. Since it's on the warmer side today, I went for grey jeggings (urban outfitters), a plain baggy black t-shirt from the gap (I own these in every color and they are amazing, and only $5!) I paired it with my tall brown nine west boots that I scored at Marshall's for only $40!) ..Lastly, I through on a free people blazer that I splurged on last year with my best friends (oh well, its adorable!!!)...
I finally am starting to be myself again at school. It's so hard since everyone goes for the "laid back" look at UMass which in return makes me stand out like a sore thumb when I get dressed up .. but guess what!? I DON'T CARE!! ... I am head over heals in love with fashion and I am going to express myself through my clothes like I always had!.. Get ready Amherst, Dani is back!!

That's What Friends Are For

So today I realized that I was losing contact with my best friends from home. The 4 of us are literally attached at the hip but ever since college started, it's been rough at times to stay as close. I realized today that they truly are there for me no matter what, and they are more than just my best friends.. We really are as close as sisters (as corny as that sounds) but it's so true! They know exactly how to handle my craziness, and know exactly what to say when I need them. I couldn't have asked for a better 3 best friends! This post is 100% dedicated to them! (N+S+J)- shout out to you girls when I finally give you the link to my blog haha.. Anyways today was freezing here in Massachusetts and I was outside all day long! I went for a simple laid back look today.. Simple skinny jeans, tall chestnut uggs (so comfy!) , white and grey stripped American Apparel t-shirt, black American Apparel cardigan, and a green and grey scarf (obviously free people!)

Everyone Remember...

  • Best Friends are hard to find, but once you find them, they stay with you forever!

What To do, What to do?

Today is another beautiful, sunny day in Amherst, Massachusetts. I was planning on going to town to visit Urban Outfitters with my roommate except there's one problem.. NO CAR!.. of course there are buses but we have NO idea how to figure out the schedule.. Anyways, I am making shopping bags on every all my favorite cite's such as urban outfitters, steve madden, and best for last FREE PEOPLE! Free people has to just be the best brand ever created! Not only is it so original, but it look's great on all people, and all occasions. There's only one downfall...THE PRICE! (ouch!).. Free people tends to be a little too much for my wallet to handle so where do I turn?...MARSHALL'S!.. (best store ever for designer clothes at an affordable price). If you have not been there yet, go ASAP.. Anyway's these are some items that I'm currently dying over and need to go buy (thanksgiving break!?)

  • short, socks with lace on the top
  • free people (of course!) wide leg, lace jeans
  • big, comfy sweaters (Bill Cosby anyone!?)
  • jeweled leggings (fashion icon Whitney Port says they are a fall must have!)
Perfect socks to wear with my oxfords
How Adorable!?

Beautiful Day In Town

Today was a gorgeous, sunny, fall day!.. I have been so stressed out lately with school work, and other things that a regular college girl experiences. When I woke up to the sun shining, and 60 degree weather, I knew exactly what I wanted to wear.. I bought a faux fur vest with my grandma a couple of weeks ago at marshalls (amazing store for designer items at an affordable price). I knew it was the perfect day to rip the tags off, and show off this amazing, fashionable item. I paired this vest with black leggings from forever 21 and an acid wash long sleeve shirt from urban outfitters (sale rack for only $5!) Urban just has the best sale items to make any outfit a little more fashionable. Me and my roommate went to town to get a day of sun, and fresh manicured nails. Nothing beats a day of great outfits, and freshly polished nails

a little close up!
Awkward Picture but loving the outfit
